Use this bracket to attach a Touratech GPS mount to the handlebars of the R1100RT, R1150RT and R1100R models with non-tubular handlebars. This adapter attaches to the threaded holes on the underside of the BMW yoke. Hole-to-hole center distance is 103.5mm (4.075"). Diameter of the bar if approx. 1/2".

Larger Touratech MVG GPS mounts for the Garmin 376/276 and StreetPilot 2610/2720/2730 do not easily fit on this bracket. Also, due to the low profile of this adapter, vertical-configuration GPS's such as GPS 60 or 76 are not able to angle-adjust for proper viewing. Dimensional height of bracket from bike attachment points to mounting perch is 74mm (2.913").

This adapter will only fit R1100R bikes that have non-tubular handlebars and do not have the elevated cuff around the ignition (for holding control switches, etc). If your R-bike handlebars look like the RT's in the picture then this will fit, if it doesn't then it will not fit.

This Touratech mount adapter bar is designed for the unused mirror hole in the switchgear housing on the K1200LT and GT. It may work with other BMWs (or other bikes) that have mirrors built into the body work and an open hole on the switchgear housing. Owners of other bikes have reported success in getting this part to fit K1100LT and R1150RT handlebars but not without modifying the bike and the bar. Note that parts cannot be returned once they have been installed, so any such "projects" will result in a non-returnable part. As seen in the picture though, this bar puts the GPS in an optimal position for viewing while on the road.

This mount adapter uses the mirror hole to fasten a 12mm diameter bar that allows attachment of any aluminum anti-vibration mount made by Touratech shown on this website.

This Touratech Mount Adapter is designed for the BMW R1100 S with a high bar.

This adapter provides a half-inch bar to allow mounting a Touratech GPS Mount. Adapts Touratech GPS Mounts 065-0022, -0032, -0039, -0041, -0056 to the R1100S high bar.

Best for the angled-screen GPS's such as GPS III, GPS V, StreetPilot (not 2610).

Also fits Honda CBR 600 (2001+) and Suzuki GSXR 600

Provides a half-inch bar to allow mounting a Touratech GPS Mount.

Adapts Touratech GPS Mounts 065-0022, -0035, -0032, -0039, -0056, -0065, -0066. This adapter works best with GPS that have horizontal format screens. Other crossbar mounts (276C & 2610 MvG models) will propably not fit because angle adjust may be limited.

GPS mount adapter for the 2003 - 2006 BMW K1200GT. This bolt-on adapter installs a 1/2 inch diameter section of bar over the triple clamp to allow attachment of a Touratech anti-vibration GPS mount. The GPS mounts made by Touratech come with 1/2 inch brackets on the bottom. To attach a GPS to a K1200GT buy this adapter, the correct Touratech mount for your GPS, a power cable and you will have everything you need.

Please note the fit may be sub-optimal on some GPS mounts that have the bottom brackets spaced far apart. A solution to this is to redrill the holes in the bottom of the GPS mount and place the brackets closer together. A picture of a sub-optimal fitment is shown at right.

The Touratech GPS Mount Adapter places a crossbar mount at the center of the R1200GS handlebar clamps. Stainless steel supports for a 100mm long "crossbar" at the R1200GS handlebar clamp bolts. Includes LONGER bolts so it can be used with 25mm risers such as 040-0274. Special bolts make it possible to remove the adapter without loosening handlebar clamps.

The Touratech GPS Mount Adapter places a rossbar mount at the center of the R1200GS handlebar clamps. Stainless steel supports for a 100mm long "crossbar" at the r1200GS handlebar clamp bolts. Special bolts make it possible to remove the adapter without loosing handlebar clamps.

NOTE if bar risers installed use item 040-0665 which has 25mm longer bolts. Also, can be adapted to LC8 with spacers, (not included).

This GPS bracket adapter provides a 12mm bar to accomodate most of our crossbar style equipment mounts. It is attached by simply exchanging longer screws (included) on the outer ring of the fuel tank filler. Height and angle can be adjusted easily and it fits all similar BMW tank fillers. Location often results in a steep view of the GPS unit. This bracket adapter does not allow fitting a tank bag.
