Love these pants, way better than any other off road pant I have found. I have had several pairs of Thor Ride pants that the zipper pulls have all broken on and are thinner material. Compared to the Thor pant these are more money but totally worth it. I would not recommend them for summer time in the desert but early spring, late fall and the winter they would be great. Now that I live in the northwest these are the perfect pants WATER PROOF! they mean it. They are cut very generously but I still have to put my knee guards in from the top because the legs don't open up high enough, but this problem is the same with every pant I have tried.

Bought the Traverse pants for riding in the Northwest. I use them in the fall and winter dirtbiking and all year on the adventure bike. I have the CE armor on both the hips and the knees. I take the knee pads out when dirtbiking because I use a full knee brace. On the adventure bike I just use the CE pads. Many times I have been out dirtbiking on a day with rain and the other guys I am with are cold and ready to go home after a few hours because they are wet and cold. I can ride all day with my TraversePants because I stay dry and comfy. Just wish all my riding buddies had the Gor-Tex gear so we can ride longer. I wish the pants had two pockets. That being said, hard to beat a full gortex riding pant with optional pads at this price.
