Awesome! When I first saw this I thought; really? File this item under "Bling". That is until I was trying to compactly hang my wet helmet and riding gear in our small mud room for the umpteenth time - when this Helmet Shelf dawned on me. It is now mounted up high out of the way and when in use my wife can still motate around my drying gear. This really is a useful product and heaps better than the (cheap) closet-oriented wire junk available at the hardware box stores - plus it looks cool! It's strong (providing you mount it securely) and you can set/hang all kinds of stuff from it.
