Garmin's eMap (model discontinued)

Information......FYI. The eMap was a great GPS. The only drawbacks are:

it's not waterproof
it does not run on 12v
the processor is slow
it's purple. (reduced acceptance in the marketplace)

But the eMap turned out to be a tough GPS, and you can get it a little wet as long ass you dry it out each night. The circuitboard is sealed (dipped), but the datacard and the connections can be damaged by corrosion.....so remove the datacard and the batteries and set it somewhere warm to dry out. We've done this many times with our shop eMap and it's still going strong.
