Here's the eMap on a RAM
mount clamped outboard of the crossbar on a Honda XR400,
next to the front brake master cylinder.
Notice (in the lower photo) that the ball-jointed GPS mount
easily pushes out of the way (adjusted for friction) to open
the BarPack map holder.

If I need to see the GPS in front of the map I just push it back
over the map. This method works especially well with the new graphic
GPSs where you look at the little map on the screen then instantly
locate the same area on your big map.
We ride hard with the mount set a little loose for friction and
at this setting it never slips while riding. Of course you can
crank it tighter, if you want (unnecessary). We've found the RAM
system to be as close to bulletproof as you can get.
